DAYTON SQUASH CENTER
HIGH SCHOOL SQUASH PROGRAMS
The Dayton Squash Center is very excited about the 2009-2010 programs for High School Students.
Beginning in November, The Miami Valley School will field the area's first High School Squash Teams (Girls and Boys). These teams will participate in the "Great Lakes Squash League," playing home and away matches against schools from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Buffalo.
We hope to have enough other High School age players participating in our "SUNDAY CLINICS" (see info below) that we can form a co-ed team from this group to participate in home matches as well.
From our "Sunday Group" we'd like to develop a core group of players that train & play together in order to travel to Midwest Area tournaments (squash tournaments are a lot of fun! The picture above is of Sarah Caughey & Corri Johnson at a tournament in Birmingham, Michigan where we took 8 kids last year).
If you're interested in learning and/or playing squash and you are in 9-12th grade at any area high school, come join us on Sunday afternoons for our instructional clinic and round robin play. (PIZZA & SOFT DRINKS served once a month!)
